Dawn Jimenez, Interim Club Director
Dawn Jimenez began her career at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago in 2004. She successfully served in many roles including Club Site Manager at 2 elementary schools (Armour & Park Manor), Volunteer Coordinator, WIA Tracking Coordinator, and Program Director at the Louis L. Valentine Club. Over the years, she has gained vast skills, knowledge and experience necessary to fully embrace the BGCC mission and its impact on members. She continues to share this passion with her staff to effectively motivate and lead her team.
She has formed partnerships with the Museum of Science & Industry (Science Minors Program) and Illinois Institute of Technology (IPRO-Interprofessional Projects Program) to enhance the club members’ experience. Dawn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services/Management and continues her commitment to the organization by serving on the Safety Committee, assisting with corporate volunteer events, providing input to professional peers and is a member of The Professional Association of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
