The
Guild Board hosted an afternoon at work for Club youth participating in the
mentor/mentee program run in conjunction with Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Twenty young people from the Louis L. Valentine Club and their mentors were invited to the corporate offices of Google and Gatorade. The groups of young people at each corporate office enjoyed a special presentation where they learned more about each company and what is like to work there. The day was capped off with a pizza party at Google’s offices in which young people and their mentors socialized. A special thank you to Google and Gatorade for making this a fun event for the kids that allowed them to explore potential career opportunities.
